Skiing

Scotland's largest ski area lies just 30 minutes north of the hotel. Dating from the early 1960's the Glenshee resort offers 21 lifts serving 36 runs over 40km. All ages and stages are welcome. ski-glenshee.co.uk

Glenshee Snow Sports School is the only Ski School at Glenshee Ski Centre. They have packages available which cater for all abilities and are located right on the slopes with easy access from the main car park. The building can be found on the opposite side of the road to the café. Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding and Telemark Tuition are all available.

Daily group and private lessons (90 mins) are available at 10am/12:30pm and 2:30pm.

To get you started they have the following available; 1.5 hr group lesson, full equipment hire for the day, beginners lift pass Cost: Adult £50/Child £38 Private 90 min lessons start at £55 Group lesson price from £18 per person Ski Hire: Adult £17/Child £10 All equipment can be provided when taking tuition if required. Min age for ski school 5 years.

To book, please call the Ski School office direct line 01339 741010 or 07799 847014. Card details will be required to secure the booking. On the day of your lesson and arrival at the ski centre please register with the main office of the Snow Sports School. Lift passes are required for all lessons and can then be purchased from the main ski centre prior to your lesson commencing. Advanced bookings are advised.

There is an independant ski hire shop in the hotel carpark - the telephone number is 01250 886350. There are also ski hire shops further up the glen and at Glenshee itself as listed above.

We have drying rooms available for wet gear and safe storage facilities for skis and boards.
