Children's Activities in Perthshire

It's a fun place to be with children! There are plenty of outdoor activities, places to visit, things to see and do. Not far from us in Kirrimuir is the birthplace of W M Barrie who wrote Peter Pan – a museum and beautiful statue is worth a visit.

The Crannog Centre in Kenmore is a bronze age hands-on museum aimed at showing children what life was like back then.

Active Kids at Stanley – a petting farm and outdoor play area is a great day out for kids and whilst they have excellent café facilities they don’t mind families taking in their own picnics. (recommended to tire the little treasures out!) Both nearby towns Perth and Dundee have excellent sports and swimming facilities – further information on which can be found on the Perth Council website.
